A New Church Planter
Two years ago, my wife Eunice and I felt called to come to EvFree to be equipped further in ministry. I was invited to a two to four-year journey to be trained under David Fletcher in order to be sent out either as an Executive Pastor or Lead Pastor. During this time, I learned best practices in running an organization, what team leadership looks like, and what God’s clear vision is for my life. It was also a delight to preach and teach, as opportunity allowed.
About a year ago, I began a journey with God to consider planting a church. The vision began with a burning heart for the unbeliever to come know the love of Jesus Christ. David and I talked and prayed about it . . . but it wasn’t until recently that this call was confirmed by God, friends, mentors, and most importantly, by Eunice!
In order to work on the next steps of planting a church, I will be rotating off of staff at the end of the month. I want to sincerely thank this community for pouring love and kindness onto me. I was given the opportunity to lead our church’s internship program, support the church during our interim, and most importantly I was able to discover God’s call on my life to communicate His Word. From the bottom of my heart, I want to say, “I love EvFree.” This church has empowered me and treated me with gracious affection. Please accept my heartfelt thanks.
My last Sunday will be May 28 and I will be doing the Scripture reading in all three services. I would love to connect with any of you after our worship service.
For His Glory,
