Christmas Blvd is Almost Here!

After months and months of planning, designing, constructing, rehearsing, decorating, and praying, our annual gift to our community is nearly upon us! As we head into the final week prior to Christmas BLVD, we are asking for your intentional help. We REALLY want people to come and experience the joy that we feel at Christmas! We need your help in getting people here. We are so excited to light up our campus, open the gates of Bethlehem, and welcome our neighbors into this wonderful experience.

So, we are counting on YOU to invite your neighbors and friends, co-workers and teammates, baristas and barbers to join us. You might still grab some of our printed invitations to distribute in your neighborhood or hang a poster in your place of business. At the very least, we encourage you to use the SHARE features on your social media apps to help promote our event with those in your sphere of influence.

Here are some links to follow or share:

Here’s what you have to look forward to…

A Walk Through Bethlehem
Step back in time and walk the recreated streets of this tiny village to the night where one birth changed the world. The live nativity scene is bigger and better than ever and will include real animals, a new script, and an indoor/outdoor experience. You won’t want to miss it!

Nightly Concerts & Live Music
You are sure to enjoy a variety of excellent seasonal musical expressions at one of our nightly concert. Each night there will be two 35-minute concerts at 6:00pm and 8:00pm.

  • 12/14, Thursday – Bluesy Americana sounds from PawnShop kings
  • 12/15, Friday – Harmoniously hysterical doo-wop from The Alley Cats
  • 12/16, Saturday – Jazzy soul from AJ DeGrasse
  • 12/17, Sunday – Festive classic carols from members of our EvFree family at our Family Sing-Along

Also, this year The Well will be open for hand-crafted coffee and tea drinks while a variety of live musicians perform in the coffeehouse.

The Marketplace
Check off some of your last-minute gift purchases by supporting marginalized people locally and globally through products offered by a variety of non-profit organizations.

Donations Center
Please consider giving the gift of clothing or food to those in need both near and far. Our Donations Center, located in the Chapel parking lot, is open Monday–Friday and on Sundays collecting food for our very own local food bank at the Good Samaritan Center as well as clothing of all sizes for those in need in Mongolia. Donations will be accepted until January 7, 2018.

Our hope is that all who come to Christmas BLVD would feel welcome, enjoy themselves, make memories with their loved ones, feel a part of something bigger, and become acquainted with the Messiah. Thanks for helping making this event happen. Can’t wait to see you there!
