Forest Home Camp

June 23-28
For children entering 4th-6th grade in Fall 2013

THE VILLAGE. Throughout the week of summer camp we'll get set in the way that an athlete prepares for a race. We will look at what it means to be a disciple, from all the preparation and training, to even taking a position on the starting line. We will focus on how we prepare for discipleship, how we can train and how it takes practice. Register for the Village

ADVENTURE MOUNTAIN. He has showed you, o man, what is good. And what does the lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8. God wants us not just to engage our own lives, but the lives of everyone around us. Our world is not small and neither is our calling to love others and to pursue God. Register for Adventure Mountain Camp

Out in the wide-open spaces, we'll discover a colorful old town where all the excitement of the Wild West awaits! In SonWest, we'll celebrate all the fun of being buckaroos—so grab a partner and join in the jamboree! We'll travel down the trail through the Old Testament stories of Moses to discover God's ultimate plan of salvation in Jesus, because "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" (Heb. 13:8). There'll be food, games, music with special guest Jana Alayra, crafts and amazing true stories that point you and your kids to Jesus.

Chapel On Wheels

When the public schools begin, the release time program Chapel on Wheels will be starting also. There is a need for several more teachers to assist in this program. The “Chapel” is open to all fourth grade children in the Fullerton School district and it is a wonderful outreach into our community. Several people already teaching are from our church. Materials are provided. Classes last for forty minutes. For information contact Stella May (714.879.9246) or Debbie Dickenson (714.526.0168).

The monthly paper drive which helps defray Chapel expenses is held on the first Saturday of each month. Bring your recycled items to the trailer behind B of A (Bastanchury & Harbor), behind Walgreens (Chapman & Raymond), or behind the donut shop (Euclid & Chapman).

Child Evangelism Fellowship

Child Evangelism Fellowship has a new ministry called Tell-A-Story. By dialing 1.888.878.8660 a child can hear a new Bible story every day. If the child wants to hear more about how to become a Christian he is given another number to call. The call will be answered by a Good News Guide (a real person) with whom the child can talk. Good News Guides are trained on how to answer the calls. Many children can take advantage of this service, and may even make a decision to follow Christ. Tell your kids and grandkids.

A safe place for children whose parents are considering, in the midst of, or post-divorce to process all that means. We offer loving interaction with adults, fun games and activities with other kids, with the Bible central to all we do. Our "grandparents" are always a highlight of the time for the children!
