Children .. Sunday

The Children's Department provides a comprehensive ministry to children with year-round programs, special events and summer activities.

In addition to a Bible study with a small group of children, the boys and girls experience Bible memorization, worship, a missionary education program, and opportunities for friendships and relationships with teachers and other children.

Nursery

The nursery is available to babies and toddlers from 0-2 years of age.

The volunteer staff provides safe, gentle care and toddlers are introduced to simple songs, Bible stories and guided conversation built around monthly themes.

The nursery is available for all Sunday services, special events as announced, and child care for some Bible studies and support groups.

Early Childhood

Research indicates that by the time children are ready for kindergarten their basic attitudes and habits are formed for life. We take our ministry to two, three, four and five year olds very seriously!

The early childhood program runs concurrently with the four worship services. All sessions provide a similar Bible story and teaching aim. Transition care is provided for children attending attending more than one session on Sunday morning.

Our early childhood rooms are equipped with blocks, books, puzzles, home-living centers, and art projects. All of this says to a young child, "This is your church and you belong here!"

Elementary

Our goal with first through sixth graders is to help them know our Lord Jesus Christ and learn how to apply God's Word to their daily lives.

Talent Factory (Grades 1-4) runs during the school year.  The program will start in the D-Amphitheater. The children will then be dismissed to their classes where they will have the opportunity to learn a new talent, craft or skill. The classes will be kept small so that the children can develop a relationship with a caring Christian adult. (10:00 a.m.)

SuperBook Olympics (Grades 2-6) is a high-energy summer program that includes Bible study, Bible memory, competition, games and worship. (10:00 a.m.).

There's also the opportunity for children's choir for grades 1-6 in the second hour (10:00 a.m.).

Children’s orchestra for kids in grades 1-6 is offered during the third hour (11:00 a.m.).
