Sports .. Leagues

Basketball leagues are offered twice a year on Monday and Tuesday nights. Monday leagues are always recreational; Tuesdays are competitive. Softball is offered each summer. Every effort is made to ensure that registration fees are affordable. Anyone who calls this their church home is invited to participate, as are people from other churches. In addition, a strong emphasis is placed on inviting friends, neighbors and family members to play who may not regularly attend church. Many who are not comfortable attending a church service may be both interested in and eager to be joining a church-sponsored league. The format on game night includes a pre-game prayer, given by a team captain or player, and a half-time devotional also given by a captain or player.

Monday Night—6 team recreational league. Evaluation for team draft Monday January 9 & 16. Games begin January 23. Cost: $67 (includes jersey)

Tuesday Night—6 team competitive league. Evaluation for team draft Tuesday January 10 & 17. Games begin January 24. Cost: $60 (no jersey—provide your own
reversible black/white with number).

Ten regular season games, one playoff night for top four teams.
Games at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 p.m.

Summer Softball Leagues

Coed and men's softball leagues are offered each summer. Before the first pitch both teams meet at the pitcher's mound where a member of the visiting team gives the devotional and a member of the home team gives the prayer.
