Today: Mark 16:1-2
Three women, who believed in the Messiah, acted in bravery and love as they walked to the tomb in the early morning. Women have long been early responders to spiritual things.

Today: Mark 16:3-4
The women had no plan on how they were going to remove the stone and anoint the body of Jesus, but they acted in faith. And a miracle had occurred—the stone had been rolled away.

Today: Mark 16:5-6
Even as the women went in faith to the tomb, they were truly afraid at the sight of an angel sitting and waiting for them. Even when walking in obedience, there are moments of fear.

Today: Mark 16:6
The tomb was empty. An angel, seen as a young man, was the first to declare that Jesus was risen. They saw the empty tomb with their own eyes.
