Spiritual Gifts Workshop 2.0

What is this program all about?

The Spiritual Gifts Workshop 2.0 is the second generation effort to expose the people at the First Evangelical Free Church of Fullerton to a volunteer ministry match that utilizes their giftedness, personal style and ministry passion. When all three aspects are in alignment, the individual is energized, excited, and feels empowered by the Holy Spirit to accomplish his or her personalized calling.

What does the program do?

In the following pages, you will have an opportunity to take an assessment to help you identify your primary spiritual gifts. To that mix, you can add the observations of friends who know you and have seen you serve. Next, you will work through some preferences to help identify what energizes you and how you organize your environment. Finally, you will be asked some questions to help you clarify your ministry passion. When all of this is put together, you will receive a personalized report that you can print, email or save to your computer. You will also have the chance to view several ministry opportunities that combine your gift mix, personal style and ministry passion. As you explore those opportunities, make contact with others who serve in that area and pray for direction. God will guide you into an Ephesians 2:10 ministry: For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance of us to do.

Does it cost anything?

For church members and regular attenders, there is no fee to participate in these assessments. However, some regular attenders who are not in our church database will need to be approved prior to accessing the program. It will take you approximately 45 minutes to complete all three assessments, and you do not have to take all three in a single setting. Your final report will become part of the Spiritual Gifts Workshop database and will be available to you when you consider new ministry opportunities in the future.
