Family Fix-it Day
Ongoing. church-wide service ministry to seniors, single parents and others in need. Work teams are formed to serve needs within the church once a month on a prearranged Saturday morning. Teams are made up of professional and nonprofessionals who give of their time and services to do yard work, house cleaning, window washing, home repairs, etc. All this is done with the desire to take care of members of the family who can no longer keep up with these responsibilities due to failing health. Child Identification Program
Ongoing. Over the last couple of years the FBI, along with numerous juvenile programs, has been encouraging parents to have their children fingerprinted. With this in mind, the church leadership, under Dave Carder’s direction, has purchased the software necessary to provide this service to interested parents. Stop by the Children’s table on the Plaza to find out more about this program and/or make a reservation to have your child fingerprinted and photographed. The entire process takes about 5-7 minutes and costs $5 per child. Click here for program information.
Chapel on Wheels
Ongoing. Rolling Hills and Beechwood schools need teachers for Fullerton release-time Christian education (October through May). Classes are 40 minutes; curriculum and training provided. Teach fourth-grade students less than an hour each week. God will use you in the lives of local children. |
