Calling All 'Transformers'
NOW. And no, we don't mean robots! We are looking for help in transforming our campus for our annual Vacation Bible School (to be held July 23–26) on both main and north campus. If you can help with assembly, installation, decorating (skills are helpful but not necessary) particularly the weekend before (Saturday July 21 on north campus; Sunday afternoon July 22 on main campus) please contact our VBS Creative Director Cindi Wade at 562.631.8482 or kencin4@aol.com. And help us transform our church into Sonrise National Park!
Moppet Workers Needed
If you love rocking babies to sleep and making toddlers laugh, we have a job for you! Part-time, paid, CHILDCARE positions are available for the spring MOPS session starting at the end of January. We are looking for caring, energetic, responsible people to care for babies and preschoolers for the MOPPET program on Tuesdays, 8:45–11:30 a.m. If you are interested, please pick up an application from Mindy Taylor in the Women's Ministry office or call 714.257.4312.
Children's Ministry Partners Needed
NOW. We are now almost three months into our new Sunday school year and many of our children's classes are off to a good start. Thanks to the many who have stepped in already and are partnering with us as we invest in our younger generation!
As you can imagine, running a ministry that reaches more than 500 children each Sunday requires a lot of people willing to help. We still need:
- Five teacher/helpers for our preschoolers
- Four small group leaders to work with 1st-4th graders
- Substitutes
- One secretary
- Seven people to serve in the nursery during the first hour
- Two married couples gifted with people skills to serve as greeters for Kids’ Church (second hour)
Would you consider being part of our team? Please contact Arlene in the children's ministry department at 714.257.4340 and she will be happy to answer any questions.
Children's Ministry Opportunities
Children are in an almost constant state of discovery. They are also very trusting and quick to believe what people tell them. For this reason, we take very seriously our responsibility to love, care for and teach the children at Ev. Free. We introduce your children to God, as we see Him in the Scriptures, in an effort to move each child closer to Him. We know that by doing so, we are actually helping to change the landscape of heaven (John 14:2). We believe that there is a real benefit to having many voices shape the faith of our children and would love to involve more people—people like YOU—in this important work. Begin praying today about how God might use YOU to reach the next generation for Christ.

Chapel On Wheels
When the public schools begin, the release time program Chapel on Wheels will be starting also. There is a need for several more teachers to assist in this program. The “Chapel” is open to all fourth grade children in the Fullerton School district and it is a wonderful outreach into our community. Several people already teaching are from our church. Materials are provided. Classes last for forty minutes. For information contact Stella May (714.879.9246) or Debbie Dickenson (714.526.0168).
The monthly paper drive which helps defray Chapel expenses is held on the first Saturday of each month. Bring your recycled items to the trailer behind B of A (Bastanchury & Harbor), behind Walgreens (Chapman & Raymond), or behind the donut shop (Euclid & Chapman).
