Parking Team Needs

We need a few good men or women with a gift of hospitality to work Sundays 8:50–9:40 am or 10:20–11:10 am on our parking team. Volunteer weekly, or bi-weekly, monthly even. Call Parking Team Leader Jerry Downs at 714.488.7837 or find him in the parking structure any Sunday!

Warmth Still Needed

Believe it or not, we are almost out of blankets and coats to distribute through our Good Samaritan Center. Donations are received on the plaza Sunday mornings or at the Modular office during weekdays. Thank you, thank you—you have already allowed us to distribute HUNDREDS this winter!

At the Throne . . . Praying for Kids

NOW. Life can be tough for kids these days. They live in a culture that often challenges their faith on a regular basis through media and relationships. Many find themselves in situations that are physically, emotionally or spiritually unsafe. For these reasons, we are starting a new prayer ministry to help children, youth and their parents better cope in these uncertain times. If you'd like to be part of a once-a-month team that prays over the lives of students, please visit the AT THE THRONE table on the plaza this Sunday or check the website for more information. At the Throne meets Wednesday nights in NC180.

Food Fund

NOW. Our Food Fund is in need of canned soup and vegetables, beef stew, chili, baked beans, canned fruit, tuna, jelly, mac and cheese, pasta and spaghetti sauce. Donations can be placed in the large gray bins located throughout the campus on Sundays.

Teen Mom Program Needs

NOW. The TLC Program begins again this week week at La Vista School. Needs include a craft person to work with the girls during the morning class to make crafts for some holidays; a nurse (three times/year) to teach the girls about pre-natal care, childbirth and early infant care; and items such as beauty products, jewelry, candles, books, picture frames, new stuffed animals, and small baby toys. Interior Designers and Florists Wanted

Volunteers Needed for Clothes Closet

NOW. We are looking for volunteers in help in our Good Samaritan Center Monday–Friday from 4:15–5:30 p.m. It is a great opportunity to work with our community. If you are available one day a week or perhaps a couple of days, please contact LaDona Peterson at the church office.

Plaza Team

NOW. If you have the gift of hospitality and like to put a smile on faces, consider volunteering for one of our monthly plaza donut serving teams.
