Serve NOW .. Worship Service Needs

Beforehand

NOW. If you have 30 minutes to spare after the second hour in the Worship Center, we invite you to become a part of our faithful BEFOREHAND team, to replace pencils, re-fill communication cards in the pews and make sure that Bibles and hymnals are in place. A team of seven can finish the whole Sanctuary in about half an hour. Contact Bambi Encarnacion at or 714.529.5544 ext. 531 if you would like to help.

Join the Orchestra

NOW. If you play an instrument and can make a commitment to Wednesday night rehearsals the orchestra would love to have you be a part of their ministry. The orchestra helps lead worship in the 9:00 service each Sunday as well as special seasonal events. Call Barbara Shaible at 714.257.4326 to set up an appointment.

Camera Team

NOW. As you might have noticed, we’re now putting our sermons on screen so those of you waaaay in the back can actually see the person who’s talking! But this means we need people to help RUN the video camera. If you have experience doing camera work, we’d love to have you on the team. Contact Barbara Shaible at the church office if you would be interested in helping out.

Ushers Needed

NOW. We need ushers in the 11 a.m. service in the worship center. If you can help serve, please call Barbara Shaible at 714.257.4326

Plaza Hospitality Volunteers Needed

NOW. If you have the gift of hospitality and like to put a smile on faces, consider volunteering for one of our monthly plaza donut serving teams. We especially need help on the third Sunday each month but will happily accept helpers for any Sunday. Contact Bob Alexander at 714.257.4306 for information.

Volunteers Needed

Ongoing. Words to the songs, videos, announcements, sermon notes—believe it or not, those don’t happen instantly. Graphics operators play a key role in our worship services, and we need more help! If you value excellence on the front screens, consider volunteering as a graphic operator. Scheduling and commitment is flexible depending on your availability, and training is provided. Help us help you worship—call the Music Office to find out more!

Techie? Or Like to Be?

Ongoing. We’re looking for new technical ministry volunteers for either morning or evening services. Training is available. Contact Barbara Shaible, 257-4326.

Plaza Ministry

Ongoing. Help is needed Sunday mornings to serve coffee and donuts with the Plaza serving team. This is a great ministry opportunity for a couple to enjoy together, even once a month. Please call Lynn Jackson, 257.4334.

I-Mag Video Team

Ongoing. Do you like to be behind the scenes? Technical Ministries is looking for camera operators, switchers, directors, and graphics operators. All levels of experience are welcome! Training is available. For information, or to sign up, contact Barbara Shaible, 257-4326.
