Here's an ongoing group for remarried couples that meets monthly for fun, fellowship, mutual support and education. By linking up with other remarried couples, you'll discover that others have faced the issues you're facing, and you can learn from one another how to work through them.

Remarriage Stepfamily Development Workshop

Many of the dynamics of a remarriage are unique and this workshop is open to couples already remarried or considering remarriage. Topics include blending families, step-parenting, couple expectations, co-parenting, communication, conflict resolution, step-parent/step-child development, finances (#2 reason for step-family breakup), and more. Late Sign-Ups: If you sign-up late, go to the class and tell the leaders that you've signed up on the website. Missed classes can be taken at the next session.

After taking Remarriage/Stepfamilies Workshop, we suggest MMS – Mastering the Mysteries of Stepfamilies to build a long-lasting relationship through better communication (see below).

Nancy Landrum is a nationally recognized stepfamily expert who first learned stepfamily skills in the crucible of her own stepfamily and has gone on to develop stepfamily curricula that has brought many stepfamilies from conflict to hope and then peace. This workshop is an active blend of information, testimonies, games, exercises and group discussion. Workbooks included.
