Pen Pal

The Pen Pals ministry is a partnership with Jacque Coulombe's third grade students from Arovista Elementary School in Brea.

Our senior adults are matched with the children for a year. During this time, the children develop a friendship with their "Grandpa" or "Grandma" from our church.

Anything from letter-writing, gift-giving, to field trips to a ball game, is part of what our seniors do to encourage these children in their school and family life.

This ministry culminates with a picnic lunch where the families of the children get to meet the senior adults who have loved their children through the year.
