Service Opportunities

FAMILY FIX-IT

A church-wide service ministry to seniors, single parents and others in need. Work teams are formed to serve needs within the church once a month on a prearranged Saturday morning. Teams are made up of professional and nonprofessionals who give of their time and services to do yard work, house cleaning, window washing, home repairs, etc. All this is done with the desire to take care of members of the family who can no longer keep up with these responsibilities due to failing health.

SECOND WIND

Second Wind is an opportunity for senior Kingdom Veterans to remain solidly engaged in the Great Commission. At the same time, it is a senior outreach ministry that provides a Christian response to people in need. A few of the opportunities are: support of and prayer for missionaries and others, emergency needs of church members, crisis situations in the community and abroad, the ongoing non-critical needs of the church.
