The Senior Adult Ministry here at Ev. Free is a unique place for the 60+ age group. As Director of Senior Adult Programs and a gerontologist, I have been privileged to work with seniors who have a heart to serve God and others. They want to grow in their love for Jesus, and expand their opportunities to impact the younger generations. Through various ministries, such as those indicated in this site, our seniors are able to fulfill these "heart hungers." The term "retired" is not an accurate description of this "BUILDERS" generation. I prefer to say that they are "redirected" or "refocused" in where, why, and how they want to use this season of life. Our Senior Adult Ministry has been mobilized by the vision and renewed energy of this age group.

We are also keenly aware of the growing needs brought about by aging. Various service ministries can help seniors with driving, housecleaning, home repairs and other needs. Our ministry works with community organizations and resources in making sure that every senior adult's needs are being met. Fellowship classes are available for friendships to grow and be nurtured. It is within these classes that support systems are strengthened. I encourage you to join us!
